For the 4th of July
Below is something that I did not write, but I do agree with it.
The author is unknown. I am not posting this to offend anyone, just simply for our country and the 4th of July.
I am tired
of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their
culture. Since the terrorist attacks on September 11, we have experienced
a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans.
However, the
dust from the attacks had barely settled when the “politically correct” crowd
began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending
others.
I am not
against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a
better life by coming to America. Our population is almost entirely
comprised of descendants of immigrants.
However,
there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and
apparently some born here need to understand.
This idea of
America being a multicultural community has served only
to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity.
As
Americans, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our
own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of
struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought
freedom.
We speak
ENGLISH, not Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian or any other language!
Therefore,
if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!
“In God We
Trust” is our national motto. This is not some Christian, right wing,
political slogan.
We adopted
this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded
this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate
to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I
suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is
part of our culture.
If Stars and
Stripes offend you, or you don’t like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously
consider a move to another part of this planet.
We are happy
with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don’t care how you
did things where you came from. This is OUR COUNTRY, our land, and our
lifestyle.
Our First
Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his opinion and we will
allow you every opportunity to do so. But, once you are done complaining,
whining, and griping about our flag, our pledge, our national motto, or our way
of life, we highly encourage you to take advantage of one other great American
freedom – THE RIGHT TO LEAVE!

Unknown
I find myself
feeling this way. Feel free to leave a comment, just be aware that it may not
be posted until Monday the 7th as I will be out of pocket for the rest of the weekend.
God Bless each of
you and our Country.

Not Ashamed
For I am not ashamed of
the gospel of Christ: for it is the power
of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and
also to the Greek. Romans 1:16
Where are you at?
Are you ashamed of the gospel of Christ? Are you willing to accept the bible
from cover to cover and believe everything inside it? Are you willing to do
what God asks you to do? Do you want to have power with God?
For
therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is
written, For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness
and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that
which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto
them. For
the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly
seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and
Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Romans 1:17-20
You must have faith in God. You must hold fast to his
instructions (the Holy Bible) “because that which may be known of God is
manifest in them”. I am talking about people men and women who are able to hold
the truth in all ungodliness and unrighteousness.
We (the saved) are
without excuse. The sinner is without excuse lets dig a little deeper. Still in Romans: 21 Because that, when
they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became
vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23
And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to
corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the
lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and
served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even
their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the
woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which
is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which
was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in
their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things
which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all
unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of
envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil
things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding,
covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such
things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them
that do them.
We can see the
same thing happening in our world today. Women with women and men with men. We
follow images made by man, we give into our own lust. I don’t care what you
believe this was not the way God intended his creation to be. If you are caught
up in this lifestyle then you are wrong. The “Word of God” tells you that you
are wrong, not me. I am not judging you the “Word”is. Can man plead that he has
fulfilled his obligation to God?
Our Creator's
invisible power and Godhead are so clearly shown in the works he has made, that
even idolaters and wicked Gentiles are left without excuse. They foolishly
followed idolatry; and rational creatures changed the worship of the glorious
Creator, for that of brutes, reptiles, and senseless images. They wandered from
God, till all traces of true religion must have been lost, had not the
revelation of the gospel prevented it. ~ Matthew Henry’s Commentary
This chapter is a
call for us to examine ourselves. When we do will it convict us for things we
have done?
I am not ashamed
of how I believe, I am not ashamed to call sin what it is. I am however ashamed
of some of the things I have done in the past. I am ashamed of how God’s
creation has turned their back on him. I
fail God in my spiritual life often and if you will be honest with yourself you
do to. We have not reached perfection yet, but one day…
May God Bless You!

To our Mothers
I expect there
will be many things posted this weekend in regards to our mothers. My post will
be no different. I will provide scriptures from Proverbs chapter 31 at the end
of my post to honor the women in our lives, whether it be our mothers,
grandmothers our wives (the mother or our children) or a special woman that has
influenced you in some way.
I dedicate this
post to the ladies that read my blog, my mother, grandmother, wife and to my mother-in-law.
I hope and pray these words are uplifting to you. I pray each of you have a
blessed “Mothers Day”.
I realize that as
I write this morning that everyone has not had the same opportunity I have had.
I have and still do (because my mother is still living) a wonderful example of
Godly love given to me by my mother. It is an unconditional love. She made sure
I went to church when I was young and it is something that has stayed with me
my entire life.
I am not trying to
take away from the love of God just simply stating that a Godly mother (woman)
should be praised as it is an extension of Gods love.
Proverbs 31:10-31:
10
|
Who can find
a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
|
11
|
The heart of
her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
|
12
|
She will do
him good and not evil all the days of her life.
|
13
|
She seeketh
wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
|
14
|
She is like
the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
|
15
|
She riseth
also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion
to her maidens.
|
16
|
She
considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth
a vineyard.
|
17
|
She girdeth
her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
|
18
|
She
perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
|
19
|
She layeth
her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
|
20
|
She
stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the
needy.
|
21
|
She is not
afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with
scarlet.
|
22
|
She maketh
herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
|
23
|
Her husband
is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
|
24
|
She maketh
fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
|
25
|
Strength and
honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
|
26
|
She openeth
her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
|
27
|
She looketh
well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
|
28
|
Her children
arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
|
29
|
Many daughters
have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
|
30
|
Favour is
deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall
be praised.
|
31
|
Give her of
the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
|
As I bring my
remarks to a close this morning I want to say thank you to my mother,
grandmother, wife (who without her I would be incomplete) and to my mother – in
– law. I say thank you for being the special ladies that God put you here to
be. I especially want to thank my wife for be a Godly example to my children.
These ladies are truly a gift from God!
Until next time
may God Bless You!

Blocked as spam? Why? Please respond...
Good morning. I have noticed that I have been blocked from some of these blogs because of spam. Is this happening to anyone else? If not what have I done that has caused this? I have even been blocked from the Christian Blog Site post. I pray I have not offended anyone if so I apologize, but I am writing what I believe God is having me to.
I must apologize for being absent from the blog during the past couple of weeks. I have barley been able to read the blogs. I am hoping that I will be able to return with regular post this week.
We are in the process of inventory at work which is putting additional work on me so the blog is taking a back seat.
I will repost creation part one later this week hopefully followed up with creation part two. Please be in prayer that these post will be what God wants not what I want.
On a personal note we have several people in the church that are sick or have relatives that are sick. I also watch for new post from Faithfully Fighting. Please lets keep all of the people in our thoughts and prayers.
I pray that each of you have a good week and have time to listen to God.
May God bless and keep you.

Praise God
Good morning, this will be a quick post. I just wanted to praise God for keeping us safe over our weekend trip to Pigeon Forge Tn. We had a great time and traveling mercies.
It was a much needed get away from the world trip. I feel rested and ready.
One other reminder I plan on making my first post on creation this week. Please help me be in prayer that it will be what God wants.
May God bless you.

What have you done for God?
What have you done for God today? Me not enough; have you ever noticed how some days it is easier to live for Him than it is others?
God never promised us that our lives would be a bed of roses.
I do want to let you know that it is not a sin to be tempted. The sin comes when you fall for the temptation.
Jesus was tempted by the tempter himself when he was in human form and hungry. A man at his weakest. What was his example? He said “Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”
At times when we are at our weakest we should remember how our Lord handled temptation. We have the power to rebuke the devil if we choose…

Curious
I am curious. Are my post being read? My prayer is that they are. I also pray that each post is informative, inspirational and what God wants me to write. If you are reading please leave me a comment even if you do not agree with me.
I pray about what God want me to write about in this blog. I wanted to write Friday but I couldn’t seem to get a thought. I now ask that God would guide this entry and that He would get all the glory and that it honor Him.
I completed a whirlwind trip to New York last week for work. This by far is the biggest place I have ever been. I am a country boy raised on a farm in Tennessee. There were more people there than I had ever seen in my life. To say I felt out of place is an understatement.
If you read the post before this one you know that I had a few reservations about flying, but I want you to know that God granted peace. I had peace before I left work last Monday. I told my Sunday school class yesterday that I just couldn’t describe the peace I felt and as I write this morning I still can not put into words the way I felt. I knew that everything was going to be okay. I also told the class yesterday that I had to get to a place where I would accept whatever God sent and to know that whatever the outcome was that it was God’s will.
In Isaiah chapter 9 verses 6 and 7 Isaiah is prophesying about the birth of Jesus. 6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Now where did the peace I received about my trip last week come from? It came from “The Prince of Peace” our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Isaiah chapter 32: 17And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. 18And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; Isaiah was blessed with the knowledge that he was given. I believe he truly was a great profit of God.
In Mark chapter 4 Jesus rebuked the wind and said unto the sea “Peace, be still. And the wind ceased and there was great calm.
Jesus spoke peace into my heart one time as a fifteen year old boy when he saved me and made me whole. Jesus again spoke peace to my heart last week when he told me everything was going to be okay.
Jesus still wants to save you today he can still speak peace to your heart, he can still save you make you born again make you a fit subject for immortal glory. If you’re lost he wants to do that for you. Are you willing or do you want to continue to go the way you are? Do you want to go to Heaven? One thing is sure you will spend eternity somewhere. Will it be in Heaven or will it be in Hell which will be dumped into the lake of fire? Ask yourself this question: Where will you spend eternity?
If you answer is Hell then I pray that you are saved before it is too late. You can only be saved when the Holy Sprit draws you and you truly believe that Jesus is the son of God and he died on the cross and rose again, and you pray “your” prayer asking God to forgive you.
Until next time may God Bless You!

Faithfully Fighting
I feel the need this morning to ask each of you who read these blogs as well as post to a blog to pray for Lynn of Faithfully Fighting.
Her procedure is this morning and by the time this post it may already be underway. I am sure she is scared. I am sure here family is scared we need to pray for them as well.
I commented to her blog last week. She wrote me back and told me she felt honored that I would pray for her. As a Christian it is a privilege to pray for her. It is a privilege that I have an advocate with the Father that I can take time to pray. I don’t have to rely on a priest, but I can cast my cares directly upon Him.
I don’t know Lynn personally but I believe she is my sister in Christ, and my sister needs our prayers. So please find some time somewhere today and ask God to intervene, to comfort her and her family, to guide the surgeon’s hands and most of all to heal her body.
Let us not forget that sometimes bad things happen to good people. If we were in her place I feel sure we would want prayers of people who know God.
I will usually only post one time a day or every couple of days. Today will be a bit unusual because this is my second post. I wanted to announce the birth of my brother’s baby which was my first post.
Until Next time may God Bless You!

About me
This is my first official entry. I’ll start by telling you a little about me.
First and foremost I am a Christian (even though I am very unworthy). This does not mean that I am perfect just forgiven.
I am a member of Spring Hill The Baptist Church of Christ in Walling Tennessee where I am a Deacon. I also serve as church clerk and treasurer.
I have been married to Milynda for 17 years and almost five months. We have three boys Jacob, Adam and Ethan and a very spoiled little girl Makayla.
We live on the family farm where we raise cattle and horses.
I hope to use this blog as a means tell people about the wonderful love of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
I pray that the views expressed here will be by the divine inspiration of God and will inspire you and allow me to draw strength. I am of The Baptist faith. Future entries will examine in more detail what I believe.
It is not my intention to argue doctrine, bible or faith. What you see here is what you get.
May God bless you!
Bible verse for today come from Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
